Miss Chrissies Country House

Chrissiesmeer is a little village 35km east of Ermelo on the N17 towards Swaziland. Located in the spectacular Highveld Grassland and Wetlands, in the middle of the Lake District consisting of approximately 300 pans and lakes. Our guest house is a visually stimulating 5km drive from the village, along the side of the large lake.

Miss Chrissie’s Country House rates as one of the best guest houses in the Chrissiesmeer district. It is a sympathetically restored sandstone building dating back to the 1870’s, with lots of charm and character. The original features has been retained to create traditional contemporary en suite accommodation. Our aim is for you to relax in a luxurious environment away from city life.
